Dockside has Reached Practical Completion
Set within the transforming waterfront of Leith, this landmark Build-to-Rent scheme delivers 373 sustainable homes across four buildings of up to 14 storeys, alongside shared amenity and active ground-floor commercial spaces.
Delivered for Goodstone Living, the 2.5-acre site includes 1.3 acres of new public realm within the historic Albert Docks. Residents benefit from landscaped gardens, a fitness centre, coworking spaces, and accessible rooftops with waterfront views.
The harbourside location required significant ground investigation to ascertain ground conditions and groundwater levels, and our inhouse geo-environmental team worked with the civil and structural engineers to develop a suitable piling and foundations scheme. The structure comprises in situ concrete frames and post-tensioned floor slabs supported from the new piled foundation system.
