Woolgar Hunter are committed to ensuring that we provide a professional and ethical service to our clients – with passion and integrity.  In order to maintain a high standard, we have been independently certified to an internationally recognised ISO standard by an accredited certification body.

We undergo regular external audits to ensure our working procedures are in line with the standards required, which demonstrate our dedication to quality, environmental and information management responsibility and allows us to continuously improve our processes.

BSI Accreditations

Quality Management Systems – ISO 9001:2015

The BSi 9001 standard is a globally recognised framework for quality management systems.

This accreditation reflects our dedication to delivering a high-quality service which in turn enhances our customer satisfaction.

Environmental Management Systems – ISO 14001:2015

The BSi 14001 standard provides us with a framework to help us to identify and control our environmental responsibilities, it ensures we have robust policies and action plans in place to reduce our environmental impact and promote sustainability in everything we do.

BIM – ISO 19650

The BSi 19450 standard allows us to manage information using BIM, this is derived from the UK’s PAS 1192 framework and enhances collaboration, reduces errors, and improves our efficiency. 

The standard is structured into several parts, each addressing different aspects of information management.

Cyber Essentials Plus

Cyber Essentials is a government-backed certification scheme which involves an external audit focusing on firewalls, secure configuration, user access control, malware protection and security update management.

Our Cyber Essentials Plus audit goes a step further and involves technical testing to ensure compliance with these controls.

This gives us the confidence we are protecting ourselves, our Clients and our Staff against common cyber threats.

Corporate Membership Certificates

Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE)

The Association for Consultancy and Engineering champions infrastructure to government and other stakeholders, representing the views of around 400 members.

Our ACE Membership provides us with access to a range of sector-specific services including: networking at world-class events, the best in industry news and analysis from Infrastructure Intelligence, and access to legal, HR and business support.

Structural Engineers Registration (SER)

An SER membership is crucial for engineers working in the construction industry in Scotland, this scheme is designed to improve the safety and quality of building structures in Scotland.  Our SER members are required to Fellows, Members, or Associates of IStructE, or Chartered members of ICE, and typically have a minimum of five years of relevant experience.

SER Certification is essential for obtaining a Building Warrant in Scotland, ensuring that structural designs meet safety standards and are compliant with national regulations.

This scheme is overseen by SER Ltd, who monitor and audit our registered engineers to maintain professional standards and accountability.

Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) / Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE)

The ICE and IStructE are professional bodies for civil and structural engineers; they are both designed to support professional growth and promote best practices in the industry.

Our engineers hold various individual memberships tailored to different levels of experience and qualifications.

These memberships provide our engineers with numerous benefits, such as access to professional qualifications, networking opportunities, and resources to enhance their career development.

Constructionline Gold

Constructionline is a UK Government run pre-qualification certification service that helps to streamline our procurement process and enables Woolgar Hunter to be seen on a register of credible and compliant suppliers. 

Our Constructionline Gold accreditation provides our clients / potential clients with the confidence that we consistently meet strong standards when it comes to Health and Safety, quality, ethics and governance by ensuring our standards and policies are up to date, it involves going through a set of more rigorous checks beyond the basic pre-qualification questionnaire and carrying out a higher level of due diligence.
