The development is home to the new 400,000 sq ft Grade A office space to be occupied by Barclays Bank as well as an 18 storey building including 324 high end apartments, with commercial accommodation, and a central hub housing gym and private dining facilities.

Engineering Excellence

The site sits next to the River Clyde and is founded on rock at depth using a bored insitu piles.

We added value to the design of the buildings in ensuring transfer structure was at a minimum and that detailing of the structural elements was consistent and as simple as practical. In addition flood study models and joint probability analysis were carried out to sensibly address flooding issues which allowed us to design the drainage for the full site taking cognisance of the sensitivity models. The Scheme also involves significant earthworks formation of new roads, drainage and Public Realm.
