Woolgar Hunter have provided Civil & Structural Engineering services to the University of Stirling for over 25 years and are currently employed under their framework agreement. Projects range from multi million-pound new build contracts to small refurbishments across the campus.
Engineering Excellence
Some notable projects include: • Campus Central: The award winning project includes the refurbishment of the original atrium, study area and retail concourse alongside a new 3 storey extension to provide a modern gateway into the various exiting buildings it connects. • INTO Building: The new INTO building provides facilities for the INTO University of Stirling Partnership to assist new foreign students to adapt and prepare for their future studies at the University of Stirling. • Stirling Sports: The development includes both extension & refurbishment of the existing sports facilities, along with an architecturally striking newbuild, steel and concrete framed ‘glass box’ feature building. The newbuild element houses reception, changing facilities, fitness suite, cafe and administration offices. Alongside this building is a new 3 court sports hall and sprint track facility. • Student Residences: Demolition of several blocks of outdated accommodation and replacement with over 700 new bed spaces to current standards. A mix of accommodation types was provided. • Multiple refurbishment and maintenance projects to buildings and infrastructure.
