The Hillington West masterplan development is the latest in a line of projects that Woolgar Hunter have delivered at Hillington Park. It involves the masterplanning and development of a large swathe of the site that was previously occupied for many years by the Rolls Royce factory, and will create a range of new commercial and light industrial units.

The Hillington West masterplan development is the latest in a line of projects that Woolgar Hunter have delivered at Hillington Park. It involves the masterplanning and development of a large swathe of the site that was previously occupied for many years by the Rolls Royce factory, and will create a range of new commercial and light industrial units.
We have provided geo-environmental expertise in the assessment and remedial advice on this brownfield site. Assessment of hydrocarbon risk to the water environment was a key consideration, together with potential remediation costs. We worked closely with the wider design team to develop a cost plan and a viable foundation/ soil movement strategy. The project has now developed through to detailed design stage for the first phase of the works, which involves the construction of three new subĀ divisible steel portal frame units of 131000 ft 2 along with associated site infrastructure. This phase of the works has been taken to detailed design and tender stage and will commence construction imminently.
Phase 1 accounts for around one third of the overall site footprint, which has been masterplanned for further development in due course.
